Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To return a product, you can start a return through your account profile. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. A photo of the damage may be required to determine if you are eligible for an exchange or a refund. You will be alerted via email if this is necessary. Books are not considered damaged if the pages or dust jacket have folds, wrinkles, dents, or scuffs.

Books are considered damaged if:

  • There is water damage
  • There are torn pages
  • The binding is broken
  • There is a tear on the front cover
  • The formatting of the novel is incorrect

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items, including signed books), personal care goods (such as beauty products), and subscription boxes. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, personalized items (including signed books), or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds 
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Subscriptions and Limited Editions
All sales are final and book boxes are non-returnable. Books supplied in the boxes cannot be exchanged for a different title. Treats cannot be exchanged nor will they be shipped again due to very limited quantity. 

If there any damages or issues with your box, please contact us immediately so that we can do our best to accommodate you. Photos may need to be supplied to so that we can examine the extent of the damage and the determine the best way to make it right. If the book is proven to be damaged, then we will do our best to replace it for you. The replaced book may not have the same special editions or treatments (i.e. signed by the author or sprayed edges) as those are in very limited quantity. Treats and merchandise unfortunately cannot be replaced due to there being a limited quantity. If the treats and merchandise are irreversibly damaged, then a partial store credit may be offered to you. If the entire contents of the box have been damaged, a full refund may be issued in the form of store credit.
